School Leaver & Graduate Programmes

Our comprehensive programmes offer exciting opportunities to train as an accountant and obtain the ACA qualification, either after A-Levels or after university. Our holistic approach ensures that at the end of either programme, you’ll be equipped with a well-rounded skill set, a recognised professional qualification, and the confidence to excel in your future career.

School Leaver Programme – **Applications now open for Autumn 2024 start**

The AAT-ACA school leaver programme is offered to A-Level students considering an alternative to university. The training begins in our Management Accounts department, where you’ll immerse yourself in the fundamentals of business, gaining valuable insights into the day-to-day operations of our clients. From the beginning of the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with clients, replicating the dynamics of an in-house finance team, which will complement your AAT studies. Once you’ve achieved your AAT qualification, you’ll transition into our Accounts and Tax department, where you will undergo the same training as offered by the graduate programme.

Graduate Programme

Our graduate programme offers an exciting opportunity to attain the ACA qualification after university. The training starts within our Accounts & Tax department where you’ll learn about statutory accounts preparation, company tax returns, and personal tax returns. Alongside your professional training, you’ll pursue the ACA qualification, allowing you to apply your theoretical knowledge into real-world practice.

Work Experience

Our work experience program offers a remarkable opportunity to delve into the operations of our firm, our client’s businesses, and gain insights into the professional world. You’ll be guided by our experienced staff, getting a firsthand look at how we manage business transactions and provide a professional service to our clients. Throughout this experience, you’ll have the chance to work within our different teams, which will not only enhance your understanding of the accounting industry but also provide you with a solid foundation as you consider other potential career possibilities.
